William Turner’s visit to Ilfracombe

During some research Alex Duncan came across this wonderful simple and skilfully detailed image of Ilfracombe by William Turner. What a treat as we hadn’t seen this image before, and was instantly flooded with memories – I think we even know the point where Turner was standing.
